Big Project Archive - Restore

I have a BIG Project set up with a lot of users that are working on it, this is like the working copy of the requirements.

All requirements and links are common for all versions (there is a multiple option attribute accress all module).
Once a version reaches a certain milestone (2-3 times a year) it gets its own Project space.
At this point I need to get every module that belongs to this version in the main line (the big project) and clone it in its own project space with links.
The project is so big I can't arcvhive it, and restore it in a different folder (I need all baselines also).

I need to create a script that does this for every module and then restores the links between them.
Or not clone the project but find a different solution.

Do you want suggestions on how to achieve your desired results or do you want someone to provide a dxl that achieves the desired results?".

I already have a script.
The issue is that the links are only re-created between the current versions of the modules and not between the baselines.

If you need the link between the baselines restored you can only use a project archive (since obviously you cannot create links in a baseline). Since the project is so big - depending on your link setup you can do the following:
if you can create subsets of your big project which have no links to the outside, you can convert these subsets to folders or temporarily move them to a project, archive them, restore them with the links and afterwards put them in the right position. Another to achieve your result could be direct manipulation of the server data. If you don't feel secure doing that IBM Rational Tech Support might be able to help you.
